My girls and I were tired of our usual restaurants on the Al-Andalus Strip, so we decided to try something different.
First, meet my girls: J.J., age 2, loves knives, ketchup, friendly waiters and food from anybody’s plate except hers. Lili, age 5, loves mango juice and thinks Fuddrucker’s is the ultimate in gourmet dining.

Saied Restaurant is located just in front of the Gulf Plaza building on Madinah Road, just after King Saud Mosque if you are heading towards Madinah. The interior is much like that of Al Baik inside, with simple chairs and tables for dining, more seating is available upstairs for families,

Mr Saj is another venue in Al Hamra District than many of you must be familiar with. Setup in 2007 it is nestled between the offices of Utopia Design and Paninos, just along the road from the Al Hamra Hospital in the 6th District. It sells Healthy food with an arabic style’ according to their web site.
