Yes. IKEA do food in Jeddah. And Yes, it’s just for 4 SR. If you come around 9:30-10:00am you’ll get a free coffee. This Swedish furniture store do have a food court and they do have tasty, affordable food. The serve their very famous (and it is still getting famous for busy people) breakfast meal from 9:30 until stocks last. So what’s included in this breakfast meal? Strips of beef bacon, 2 sausages, bread and scrambled eggs. All that for 4SR! Impossible? See it for yourself.

If you’re a busy buddy then going there from Saturday-Wednesday at 9:30am would be a great way to save money and time. For families, I suggest that you go there on Thursdays and for a group of 4 people? You’ll save a lot. So what are you waiting for? Let go of that 4SR shawarma and try Ikea’s 4SR treat. Amazing, isn’t it?

Ikea is not just about having breakfast, they serve a great lunch and dinner as they have many choices from their excellent swedish meatballs to fish and shrimps and it comes with a resonable price a typical person will pay at the most 30 SR. Also, they have a great 2 SR shawerma you can buy 5 and add a cola for 3 SR thats for me a combo and the important thing there is a free pepsi refill so I never walk out of ikea with my pepsi cup empty.Finnaly, if your bored you can go always go to their showroom and sit on the furniture and take pictures or have some fun with the clown there lol.

I am wondering why IKEA is listed as ‘American’ when it is actually European (Swedish to be exact).

Anyway, their food is tasteless and boring, like most of the other restaurants in Jeddah; you go once and never really want to go back. I tried pretty much everything that they serve from their frozen and re-heated meatballs that you can buy on your way out to the lasagne which almost caused me to vomit.

Like some people have said, you usually get cold plates, cold food, and things that you could make at home better.

Their sandwiches are probably the best thing going for them. Everything else should be treated as if it were radioactive.

Hello … I went there once basing on my uncle’s recomedation to grab a nice breakfast , and it was good to be honest , but the only problem is that it makes you feel like if you’re in a school breakfast’s line, and when you get your plate you find it a little bit cold but i think it worth it specially with the very nice environment and decoration around you wich is very simple to me , justif they can find a way to keep the food warm without using the microwave it will better, and the price is suitable for every one I think , so it’s almost perfect to an ideal breakfast joint :)
my only problem is that my daily route from home to work doesn’t pass that area at all so I cann’t enjoy my breakfast there every day … any way I hope to every one to enjoy it instead of me :D
Suggestion : why you don’t make the site in Arabic and English ? I think it will better and will attract more locals whom doesn’t speak English very well , and far as I know the site is basicly for Jeddah’s people specially and Saudi’s generally right ???
thank you all for this nice website :) and sorry for my too much talking , after all i’m a juornalist and media man .

Safiyah: yeah I agree. I always see kids excited to grab their colorful glasses.

I’m not a fan of salmon but my dad and another friend says it’s very nice.

Their steak is really tasty also. I’ve tried it once in the evening.

I agree with Mohi. My favourite is the salmon with vegetables, and I’m also rather fond of the chocolate mousse.

Kids love the fizzy drink free refills (naturally) and the meatballs. Service is pretty good too.

I have to admit a certain fondness of the Ikea restaurant. It’s a nice way to have lunch after a morning shopping spree through Ikea. I’m particularly fond of the salmon and (of course) the Swedish meatballs.
