Set on the 1st floor of the Red Sea Mall, this small cupcake store does surprisingly well . On our visit there were six varieties of cupcakes (Each priced around 8 SR), and seating seemed to be for families only. So we picked up the half dozen available to go, and whisked them back home for further analysis. The flavours are pretty standard, we tried the Red Velvet, a Carrot one, two types of Chocolate, an Oreo Cupcake, and the vanilla cupcake. Of these we particularly enjoyed the chocolate and carrot cupcakes, these were moist, with a thick creamy topping, so far so good. The Red Velvet was less impressive, quite dry in fact, and not as rich or moist as perhaps it should have been. Either way looks like Crunchez are firmly on the Cupcake bandwagon, although with no way near the variety of Munch. But along with Melty Bites, Helens, Cake-a-licious and now Le Vendome, it looks like there is no shortage of cupcakes in town.

I will never forget what they did on the birthday of my baby girl, we came 2 weeks befor the date and have them our design and required date, and when I went today to pick up my order, I find nothing!!! They didn’t make the cake,
The reason that they gave me is: we are sorry. We didn’t read the date well.
This is were sorry doesn’t quite cut it. What the use when I have a party planned and guests arriving and no birthday cake

I did study in the USA and I must say i did had much better cup cakes than what they offer and for the topping very unhealthy .
I’ve always had a sweet tooth for chocolate and it has become quite the addiction.
However, I do not like eating cupcakes or brownies that are too sweet. I like to enjoy my food thoroughly. I heard about this place yesterday and I had to try it. Having tried most other places with the similar range of products I did not know what to expect.
I tried the chocolate brownie so I will comment on this dessert alone. If I have to sum it up in one word, then I would say that the brownie was exceptional. Layer of chocolate crust lay perfectly on top of a soft and smooth layer of chocolate fudge underneath. The combination of the chocolate crust with chocolate chips blended perfectly with the softer, smooth chocolate fudge that had a sweetness that was just right.
The Chef clearly knows what he is doing and I am glad to be the end consumer to appreciate such talent and taste.
Having wrote this review, I am now hungry for more. I’ll try the cookies and cupcakes for next time.

I always go to Crunchez, and whenever I go there i find fresh, natural cupcakes that are made from scratch , not like others who use premixes and artificial colors and flavors.
There cupcakes are light, low fat, and low sugar comparing to the other bakeries.
No matter what people say, its the most delicious, healthy cupcakes in the town!!
I like it, they have a delicious moist cup cake in the town
