Byblos is a great for a first impression, so its Ideal for Business Lunches and Dinners. The interior seems to be a mix of Persian and European designs, but the food is purely Lebanese. Everything from water to deserts. If you are a fan of Lebanese food you wont be disappointed.

Try the Jellab Drink (Rose Infused Date Juice) if you fancy something a little different. The Kibbah Nayah if also very good here if you don’t mind raw meat and your stomach can handle it.However the food is great here, but bring your credit card, Byblos is by no means cheap. It is one of the top restaurants in town, and you get what you pay for.

yeah, it’s a great place for inviting someone like I did. The waiter suggested a dish(picked one of the most expensive) for my guest, and so on for the drink, then the dessert. The place was so quiet and I got out with SR350 paid..

I went today, a friend asked me to try the food. I was the only guest in the entire restaurant, probably I was too early. So I ordered the Jellab, Halloum, Baba Ghannouj and Kebab with Cherries. The Jellab was tasty and nice, so was the Kebab. Salad and bread was ok. The Waiters were rather busy watching the Olympics on TV then checking my table or asking me if the food was alright.

Cover charge of SAR 9 and 18% Srvc is high and a first for me in Jeddah, and I go out a lot. Spending SAR 180 alone for Dinner is too much but I should have come with my friends, since the servings of appetizer were quite generous.

Its a nice food, but if I have the choice to eat salad and kebab from a street vendor, I would prefer them to Byblos.

Very posh and a good place for a special occasions.
