Aromi formerly Bice is located in Jeddah’s Waldorf Astoria Hotel ‘Qasr Al Sharq’. They have taken the fine dining venitian concept from the Hilton Venice and replicated the menu here, with the Chef’s visiting frequently to update the menu from time to time. The food is great, even though the place is a bit quiet, but definitely in my opinion the best Italian in Jeddah (as you would eat in Italy, not the international Italian that we have come to know). Must try the Escalope Milanese and the Rissotto.

    Hi to everyone,

I would like to introduce myself, I`m the manager for Aromi in Qasr Al Sharq and I`m very happy to read about our work and thanks for your visits.
I would like to explain concerning the pricing in our restaurant. Most of the customers was having the feeling that we are very expensive until end 2010 but may I explain that with the introduction of our New Brand Aromi to Jeddah we kept the same quality of products like the Angus Beef, The fresh Canadian lobster, The Dover sole, etc. BY keeping this quality we bring our prices down by 20% on average and hope we will change your perception concerning the prices.
It will be a pleasure to welcome you in our restaurant fron Saturday to Thursday for lunch and dinner.
    My kind regards,

I ate here twice last week, and have to agree with Khaled the food is fantastic. On my first visit I tried the spinach and parmesan ravioli, a rich and creamy main (but I ordered this as a smaller starter), I followed this off with a medium rare steak. Both were delicious, but it was my visit a few days later that really stood out.

Here i sampled two courses from the Black Truffle Menu, Starting with the pistachio risotto with Black Truffle shavings, then a main ‘Roll’ (think giant cooked sushi) of wrapped prawn and Dover Sole on a bed of artichokes (Superb) and the Pièce de résistance was the black truffle creme brulee which blew me away, I couldn’t get enough of this (the portion is also quite small!), but the taste was sublime, I would definitely eat here every day If I could!

I would guess that it would be a visit that should be reserved for the most special of all special occasions, because a dinner for two would cost an arm and a leg, am I right?
