Located west of Palestine Street, this is probably one of the best arabian food restaurants in Jeddah. First established in 1947 in Egypt they’ve been around long enough to get most of their recipes right. They opened their first restaurant in Saudi in Jeddah in 1998. They serve everything you would expect from your typical Lebanese/Arab restaurant. Kibbah, Sambousas, Kofta, Kebabs etc. The Chicken Shish Taouk is one of the best in Jeddah, and their lamb chops are equally good. If youre a fan of deserts, their Om Ali is also worth a try and arguably as good as that at Al Nakheel. Restaurant is also pretty nice inside, good view of the sea if you get a window seat. For some ‘tunage’ be sure to check out their website.

I have tried this restaurant last week, It was one of the wrost restaurant i have ever seen in my life.

Don’t Never ever try this restaurant. It will be a waste of time and money,

I have order mixed grill cost SR 55, it was not cooked properly and not hot.

Imagine 15 SR soup is hot enough.

I don’t how they are running the business.

Two main course + two soup cost us SR 140 and none of them was good.

It is my humble request not to visit this restaurant.

I really cannot imagine how Foodcritic can rate this place so highly. Maybe he/she should actually go there. Service is awful, food is terrible, place has a slightly unclean feel to it. Yes, the view is good if you get a window seat, but other than that the whole place needs to be completely overhauled.

Went for the Ramadan open buffet, the ONLY grilled item in this dominantly grilled food restaurant was GRILLED CHICKEN!!! And to top it off the grilled chicken finished within 30 mins, so by the time we were done with the soup, salads and appetisers, the grilled chicken was finished!!

I wish that this place would use stronger chemicals in getting rid of the food smells that are now in the walls, tables and chairs. The food is not bad but the smell is so strong it turns your stomach the minute you step in. The waiters should be given some clothing allowance and laundry. You think that they slept in their suits! Sorry, I want to keep going there but I am not a fan of the smell of the place and waiters cleanliness.
